Survival Class, Course Number 09907 is the primary group used to feed the RAIDER, PT and Orienteering Teams in the Bulldog Battalion. Many of the tasks or activities used in competition are learned in the Survival Class. Subjects like First Aid, Land Navigation, Healthy Life Style, and Physical Training are a few of the events the students will learn or be exposed too. The Survival is scheduled to also conduct two survival camping trips during the upcoming school year. One Rope Bridge, Land Navigation, Shelter/Fire Building Techniques and First Aid are a few of the activities completed during the trip.
Survival Class Activities
The Survival Class Cadets recently returned from a camping trip. During the camping trip the Cadets participated in a Land Navigation course, movement during limited visibility, building of shelters, setting snares, build types of fire specific to a survival need, ways to light these fires, team building with the one rope bridge.
