PASS the Science SBA so you can graduate!

Students and their parents are often concerned about passing the necessary tests to graduate.  Passing and doing well on these important tests is something that students have a chance to prepare for every school day!  As a science teacher, I hope that my students will learn to love learning about science.  However, I also want my students to feel confident when they go to take the Science SBA.

We will work everyday in my science classes to accomplish something that will help you on the Science SBA and that I also hope is fun, interesting and useful to learn.  I am attaching some important information for you and your parents about the kinds of topics and learning covered on the SBA.  Remember that inside the classroom is not the only place to learn about science.  Science on television, learning on the internet, in books and science museums are great ways to extend your knowledge.  Sharing science activities outside of school with your family and friends can also be a lot of fun.

In the coming school year, I will share specific ideas and events on my school website on how you and your family can enjoy learning about science together.  Stay tuned and feel free to share your own ideas as well.
