Our Mission

Through Bilingual, Dual Language, and English Language Learning Programs, in collaboration with the AHS community, we will use innovative instructional strategies and data to increase student achievement and promote a bi-literate, multicultural community.

Program Goals
  1. Identify and place students according to accurate language level, using assessment results.
  2. Expand student enrollment in programming to increase number of students meeting requirements for Bilingual Seal.
  3. Involve parents in the implementation of the Bilingual Program and reach out to the community to involve them in the educational process.
  4. Establish a pipeline for students throughout the AHS feeder system and throughout the Albuquerque School District for students to become students in the AHS Dual Language Enrichment Program.
